If you side with Jack Miranda will be count out as not loyal because she will be upset with you. At one point in ME2 after you do Jack's loyalty mission when you return to the ship, you will gave to break a fight between Jack and Miranda. Miranda can be saved only if she stays loyal in ME2. Enter this room in order to initiate a conversation with Miranda (and a possible romantic moment with her). Travel to Citadel: Presidium Commons and you should notice that room 82 has been unlocked in the apartments district (screen above). A third meeting with Miranda can take place very soon after the previous one described above.
